Present DayDevotus in the present day is a reaper and sex worker. She continues to work through trauma via her deceased fiance, causing her significant PTSD and mental illness. She continues to fight despite this, having a massive hatred for certain individuals and being very private about her life. She offers both services for hits, sex, and gear gathering. Her services are very under the counter though as there are many that want Devotus dead, and she cannot trust anyone due to being unaware of what their connections might be.Devotus has now done away with her past, doing away with the hatred of her voidsent origins. She has done away with the title Harbinger of Death and now calls herself Fallen Memoriate.Shortly after harmonizing with her full power and the events of the final days, she was hired by an unnamed organization to help dispose and capture 4 voidsent, known as some of the strongest in Eorzean history. Nearly losing her life to them on multiple occasions, she was forced to use ancient rites known only to her people. Only one of those powerful voidsent avoided capture, while its three brethren are imprisoned as crystals that adorn Devotus' scythe.Later down the line, Devotus managed to meet her mother, who she thought was dead, before finding out that her dead mother was actually a fake mother, and that her true biological mother, is still alive being an extremely strong Voidsent, holding a high rank in Troian society. It came to light that her father raped her mother in an attempt to make the child, which was successful.Realizing that her mother is as high of a rank in society as she is, she has now taken her mothers place in society, still holding malice towards her father for his actions.Devotus eventually ventured to the new world, learning the combat style from Vipers of old, a sparring technique used in old Troia. Later upon having sparred with strong combatants she took a calm life, moving to an estate with her family, having a home across from her mother, and settling down.

Beginnings

As a memoriate, Devo has lived for eons with no true concept of time. From viewing the world as nothing more than a source of murder and strife to seeing the numerous shades of possibility The Source contains, Devo has slowly evolved into more of a person. Committed to righting wrongs, her first act of justice was to trap the ones she viewed as parents into small crystals before embarking on a one-woman crusade to pass judgment on those voidsent who would ruin this world.It was a void mage who brought her to The Source, she never gave him her allegiance..only a quick death. Instead, she would ally herself with the reapers of Garlemald. Using her ability to trap voidsent in crystals, she worked with the reapers to secure potential partners for future initiates of the order. In return, they taught her the ways of The Source. Here in Garlemald, she would find love in the form of a mortal woman named Ria. Their happiness would not last.Reaper clans, by and large, were systemically labeled as traitors to the Empire and driven off with violence. Ria did not survive the fall of her clan, choosing an honorable death in service to her clansmen than to turn her back to an enemy. Devotus arrived to Ria’s side far too late to save her, but not to late to avenge her with a crimson harvest.Driven by the ideals Ria held close to her heart, Devotus made her way to survivors of these clans. She would make a new pledge of allegiance, to the Lemures. Devotus would ensure their safety as they made their way to Ul’dah, where they reestablished themselves and once again she would set about trapping voidsent to be used as future partners.
